“Approved bicycle helmet” defined

In this chapter, the term “approved bicycle helmet” means a bicycle helmet that meets—

(1)

section 6004(b) of this title section 6004(c) of this title any interim standard described in , pending establishment of a final standard under ; and

(2)

section 6004(c) of this title the final standard, once it is established under .
