Notice of strikes and lockouts to applicants

In carrying out the provisions of this chapter the Secretary is authorized and directed to provide for the giving of notice of strikes or lockouts to applicants before they are referred to employment.

Pub. L. 105–220, § 307(2)1998—, which directed the substitution of “Secretary” for “Director”, was executed by making the substitution for “director” to reflect the probable intent of Congress.
